Garden Garden Garden (GGG) was started by Jane and Eleni, college roommates studying Finance and Accounting, during their senior year at Smart Cookie University. The company quickly caught the attention of venture capitalists due to its creative way of making dorm rooms more environmentally friendly.

Background

As GGG has grown in brand recognition so has its employee force. Seemingly overnight, the 2-person team has flourished into a group of 60 environmental and civil engineers, construction managers, and businessmen and women.

 

With all the excitement of the rapid growth, GGG has not had time to review the relevant risks in its industry. Employees have also begun to complain about the lack of role clarity and inability to see the “big picture” of the company. Eleni called Deloitte for guidance to understand what risks they may face before GGG suffers any consequences.
