A sabbatical is an unpaid leave of absence meant to offer eligible USI employees an opportunity to pursue full-time unpaid volunteerism or fulfill their aspirations to serve society through volunteerism while continuing to be a part of the organization.

Financial assistance of INR 2 Lakhs

The remembrance fund provides immediate financial benefit payout to families of employees in the event of the passing away of an employee or immediate family member, which can be used for items such as funeral expenses, scholarships, endowments, charitable donations, etc.

Supporting employees for their welfare

The USI Employees Welfare Trust program aims to provide discretionary financial support to employees who face unforeseen damages on their residential property resulting from natural disasters or fires, help families of deceased employees to take care of their children’s educational expenses or the spouse of a deceased employee to pursue skill enhancement for securing a job/self-employment.

Provident Fund

A mandatory retirement benefits scheme that requires an employer’s contribution of 12% of the basic salary along with an equal contribution made by the employee. Contribution to provident fund is tax-free for up to INR 2.5 lakhs per financial year and portable when/if you leave Deloitte with linkage through Universal Account Number (UAN).

Voluntary Provident Fund

Employees have the option to make additional voluntary contributions over 12% to as much as up to 100% of their Basic salary towards an Employee Provident Fund (EPF) account to create a financial corpus for the future and the opportunity to save on income tax based on the Income Tax Act.

 Gratuity

Your gratuity program is an integral part of your wealth accumulation. In accordance with the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, eligible USI employees will receive a gratuity payout upon exit or retirement, assuming at least 5 years of service with Deloitte US-India Offices. The benefit is computed basis of “the last drawn basic * 15/26 * the number of years of service and is subject to a limit of INR 20 lakhs.

Medical Insurance

A comprehensive medical insurance program that offers Deloitte-funded base coverage for employees and their dependents with multiple voluntary buy-up options and add-on plans. Personal Accident Insurance

The personal accident insurance provides financial coverage to employees to compensate for any disability due to an accident or in the event of death; the benefit is provided to the nominee.

Life Insurance and Employee Deposit Linked Insurance (EDLI)

Deloitte US-India Offices provide life insurance coverage to employees to help protect their family’s financial future resulting from a sudden loss of life. In addition to this, all USI employees are also covered under EDLI.

Personal Identity Theft

This is a voluntary benefit extended to all USI employees at a discounted rate to be insured against various cyberspace-related risks and covers defense/prosecution costs that may arise from the outcome of cyber fraud, as well as coverage in the event of direct and pure financial loss arising from select incidents.

Remembrance Fund

You can lease a car based on the applicable limit defined at your level.

Loans and Salary Advances

Employees can apply for interest-free emergency loans and salary advance programs to meet personal and medical emergencies.

Employee Discount Program

Employees have an opportunity to register for the program and get additional corporate discounts/ cashback on top of the regular discounts that your favorite brands, online retailers, local restaurants, and merchants may have on offer.

Day Care Program for Children

Through a flexible day care for children program, all female employees can enroll their children up to 6 years of age in either Deloitte empaneled daycare centers or any registered daycare centers of their choice, near the office or home, located in registered USI office locations and take advantage of a taxable monthly daycare reimbursement benefit amount of up to INR 7,000 per month per child.

Transport Reimbursement for Expectant Women Professionals

All female professionals who are expectant mothers can take advantage of the local transport reimbursement program and can reimburse up to INR 6,000 per month, for comfortable travel between their residences to/from the office throughout their pregnancy.

Relocation assistance

We provide relocation assistance to professionals who move within the country or state as well as to another country at the request of Deloitte. Relocation assistance reimburses professionals for actual costs incurred while moving to the new Deloitte work location.
